Peljesac bridge will soon be opened and this will solve one of the most difficult problems of Dubrovnik region.
The bridge will connect this part of Croatia with the main part of the country, to travel to Dubrovnik will no longer need to cross the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The bridge passes over the Peljesac Canal between the mainland in the town of Komarna and the Peljesac peninsula, thus completely bypassing the border crossings of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This is a large and strategically important project for Croatia, funded by the European Union. The cost of the project is 526 000 000 euros.
The length of the Peleshatsky Bridge is 2 404 m
