Qarth – port city from the “Game of Thrones” – was filmed in a center of old Trogir town.

St. Dominic’s Cathedral and Fort Camerlengo City of Trogir were transformed into the trading port Qarth – also known as “the greatest city that ever was or will be”.
With no doubt, Qarth city occupies an important place in the “Game of Thrones” universe.
First appearance of the city occurs in the fourth episode of the second season – “Garden of Bones” – when Daenerys enters the city.
That’s the place where the rulers of Qarth imprison Khaleesine Daenerys’s dragons, in the second season of the series.
