Recipe: Baked Shtrukli with cheese / Štrukli s sirom Zagorski classic
Dough:
600 g of flour
2 table spoons of butter or oil
a pinch of salt
10-20 ml of the warm water
Filling:
Half a kilogram of cheese
4 eggs
Teaspoon of salt
A pinch of sugar
10 ml of cream
I’m order to make a dough, mix all the ingredients together, as to create a smooth texture substance.
Roll the dough and stretch it with your hands, on the flour-drizzled surface.
Spread the fillings on the dough, roll it and cut it into the desired portions.
Generously grease up the baking dish, and place your half-ready shtrukli into it.
Further, pout 40 ml of cream into the baking dish, and place it into the oven with medium temperature set; keep your štrukli in the oven until they acquire yellowish-golden to the reddish colours.
