Giostra historical festival in Porec
Giostra festival is held in Porec city every year on the second weekend of September.
Porec historical festival – Giostra gathers over 250 participants in costumes who, throughout the 3 festival days, evoke for the spectators life in the Baroque period thus making it a unique festival in Croatia.
This cultural, educational and tourist manifestation stems from historical facts, so most of its events are connected to the 18th century. The central festival event, which also gave Giostra its name, is a knight tournament Giostra, reconstructed from the rules of a tournament held in Porec in the year 1745.
Guests will be greeted by: Gorgeous ladies and handsome gentlemen in baroque costumes; Baroque music; Knight tournament; Historical knights’ camp (military encampment); Local produce and old trades; Drummers; Flag jugglers; Swordsmen; Street entertainers.

Rujandest is the only festival of Croatian national music and gastronomy.

Zigante Truffle Days in Istria
In the heart of the Motovun forest, one of the most important areas for harvesting the white truffle in Istria penninsula, Zigante Tartufi Days are being held every year.
This long event is being held over seven weekends during autumn (21.09. – 02.11.2014). That is precious tuber that literally measured in grams as gold like a magnet for visitors, showed guests from Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Austria and as far as Japan, which are constant visitors to this unique project. It was this event celebrated Livade as a world centre of the Istrian white truffles, and turned this place into a single marketplace, only one of its kind in the country.
Truffle Fair and Exhibition is an ideal opportunity for exploring and tasting truffles and its presentation. Every year here, and selects the most beautiful truffle, which is possible at a public auction and buy it.
In addition to the absolute king of Istrian cuisine, here you can find other indigenous products, which in its tradition and quality attract interested tasters and consumers from around the world: wine, olive oil, cheeses, honey, brandy-herb and other traditional Istrian products. The gastronomic offer is the result of collaboration with the best wineries and olive oil. For all visitors entering the fair is free, as well as tastings of local products.

Boat Fair in Pula
The Pula Boat Fair yacht exhibition has been organised in Pula city since 2010. In 2013, the 4th exhibition took place. In 2013, at the yacht exhibition in Pula, there were 8 and 13 m long yachts of the local shipyard presented — for the first time in a world-class event. The visitors of the exhibition were shown over 50 vessels. Over 100 companies from Slovenia, Serbia, Italy and Croatia visited the exhibition.

Good Food Festival in Dubrovnik
From 23 to 26 October 2014, for the very first time, Dubrovnik city will host Good Food Festival, a gastronomy event.
The four day Good Food Festival will include several culinary workshops, presentations and tasting of the specialties of the region. Dubrovnik Table, the new cookbook in English, will also be presented, as well as Sweet Tooth Map – a map for those with a sweet tooth, Eat & Walk gastro tours, 100 kn festival menus offered by Dubrovnik restaurants, Pancake Festival for children and the highlight of the festival – Dinner With a Famous Chef – with chef Mate Jankovic, and numerous other surprises in store.
The programme of the Good Food Festival will also include the screening of films the topic of which is food, Eat & Walk gastro tours, and one of the main events, the traditional Dubrovackatrpeza.

Biograd Boat Show Accepted as 34th Member If the IFBSO – International Federation of Boat Show Organizers. In 2014 year Biograd Boat Show in Biograd na Moru will be another record show, marking 16 years of continuous growth, with all of the expanded exhibition space sold out 3 weeks in advance. More than 275 contracted exhibitors will exhibit many more nautical brands, and about 300 boats.
